Westlake MUD 1 (the "District") funds a contract for a Harris County Sheriff's Office ("HCSO") Deputy to patrol for the protection of District residents, including the Westlake, Westlake Forest and Westlake Village neighborhoods.
The District has learned of an HCSO Sheriff's Safety Forum regarding the contract deputy program with Captain Donald Wine, who is the new District IV Commander. The Forum will take place at the Steve Radack Community Center, located at:

May 31st, from 7:00 pm to 8:00 pm.
Captain Wine has invited an Investigator from the Gang Unit to give a brief presentation regarding the gang presence in West Harris County and the influence gangs have on crime in the area.
This will be a good time to get questions answered and to meet your neighbors.
This is a public meeting and all residents of the District are welcome to attend.
