Westlake Municipal Utility District No. 1 (Westlake MUD 1) values the safety and security of the community. The Board of Directors has taken two steps to enhance their safety efforts within the District.
Westlake MUD 1 has hired an additional deputy from the Harris County Sheriff’s Office to patrol the entirety of the District boundaries which includes Westlake, Westlake Forest, and Westlake Village. Though the contract is with the MUD, the deputy works for you, the resident. The officer can be seen patrolling the area in the evenings, keeping an eye on the interests of those who live in the District.
Additionally, the Board of Directors has appointed a Security Coordinator to help field concerns from District residents. Reaching out to the Security Coordinator is a great way to get a message to the deputy for non-emergency concerns. To submit a non-emergency concern, please email securitycoordinator@westlakemud1.com, and your inquiry will be routed to the deputy to address. Additionally, residents can call (713) 221-6000 for non-emergency concerns.
Remember, for emergencies, always DIAL 9-1-1.
