Resident Update: Storm Debris Collection for Westlake MUD 1

Harris County Precinct 3 will be collecting winter storm debris from homes damaged by Winter Storm Uri. Westlake MUD 1’s trash collection company, Best Trash, will NOT be collecting home construction debris.
Best Trash “will continue the collection of tied and bundled crepe myrtles, bags of grass and leaves not weighing more than 40 lbs., within the temporary limitation of up to 3 bags per household at this time.”
For Winter Storm Collection:
After placing storm debris at the curb, each homeowner must submit a request to Harris County Precinct 3’s website: webapps2.harriscountytx.gov/servicerequestform/pct-form?pct3=
Fill out the information on the form, following these guidelines:
- Under "Category", select General Maintenance;
- Under "Request Type", select “Other General Maintenance”; and
- Under “Description”, type “Storm Debris”.
